Kona participated in the second day of the Bismarck Kennel Club Dog Show on August 4th, 2007. The judge, Mr. Malcolm C. Fellows, really enjoyed Kona and expressed strong enthusiasm for him. He said he could tell Kona loved the ring, and with a little more filling out, he is going to do very well. That was so nice to hear. Kona didn't stack as well as Friday (see video below) and was a handful, but even with all of the movement, I felt more comfortable dealing with it. He was just too darn excited.
Kona strutted pretty well today, although he did sit on his free stand. Need to work on that. He really had fun and got to make a couple of laps around the ring.

I feel so proud! He really is shaping up, Mike, you looked and reacted like a pro, particularly when he sat. You guys make a great team! Kona's topline looks great, no limping, rear is better and front is looking better. Can't wait to see the adult boy!
